If all your incoming links came from Do Follow sites, the search engines will view this as unnatural.

4. Avoid linking back to sites that have low reputation or are of low quality. What I mean by this is that when low reputation sites have links pointing to your sites, don't worry. Just make sure that you don't reciprocate those links. It will not seem natural. Sometimes you can't avoid it if they have links towards yours. Don't worry. Google will not penalize you for that.

5. Lastly, it's very important to stress that SEO isn't an overnight thing. It means that what you think you did wrong today will have an immediate effect on your site's ranking tomorrow. For example your site's ranking dropped the following day after you tried something new to increase its ranking. The result of your site dropping isn't caused by the new thing.

To summarize, whatever you do with your links, it's most important to make a conscious effort to make them look natural in Google's eyes and the other major search engines. Above all, never hurry when building your backlinks. Patience has its rewards.

Relationship Between SEO and Designer

SEO optimization is hard work. As a SEO professional, I should know. Every day I sit in front of my monitor-and try very hard to satisfy my clients. Failure to satisfy, for a SEO professional like me, is not a viable option. A dis-satisfied client is not going to give me repeat business. Therefore, success to me is compulsory if I want to be financially independent.

My duty as a SEO optimization expert starts from talking to the client at the initial stage. I have to know what the client wants to say. Often this is the hardest part as some clients remain incommunicado during the meeting session. Then suddenly finds a voice when I bill him for a nice amount. As a client you must raise objections (or whatever) in the initial stage itself. If you do not do so, search optimisation at a later stage can be a potential failure. Remember, you cannot radically alter the design of the website after submitting it into search engines. Frequent design changes means lower ranking in Google, Yahoo, Bing and in every major search engine.

A website must have good design. A great looking website sells its products better than its shabby competitors. The job of a SEO is to attract visitors to the site. It depends on the visitor's discretion whether he or she would proceed further or not. The site should also be navigable. The visitor must find what he wants in a single sweeping visual scan. He or she must not hunt in the design for a link. As a SEO professional, I always stress to my clients about the importance of simplicity. The simpler the site is, the greater the comfort factor of the browser. The site should also be friendly to the layperson. Not everybody is an Information Technology professional.
