5 Of The Most Important Factors to Consider When Choosing an SEO Company

More than 80 percent of consumers search the Internet to find companies offering the products and services they are looking for. If you do not have a website, you are missing out in tons of leads and prospective clients. Using the Internet to market your business is one of the best investments you can make. If you currently do not have a website, it is time to create a website and optimize the site so that you can expand your book-of-business. If you are not an Internet marketing expert, you can always hire an experience SEO company to get you started. Before requesting an SEO quote, learn the 5 factors you should consider when looking for an SEO company and choose the right SEO services.

Look Past the Unrealistic Claims

Some companies claim that they will get you ranked on the first page of Google in as little as a day. You have to understand that improving your position on search engines will take time. You do not want to become number one for a keyword that is rarely ever searched. Make sure that the company explains their claims in detail or there is no point in choosing them to optimize your website.

Evidence of Success

Any reputable SEO company should be willing to give you proof of success. They should have an expansive portfolio of sites they have optimized in the past and be willing to show you these sites before offering you an SEO quote. Be wary of the companies who want to show you a list of their SEO services before showing you evidence that their customers have succeeded.

What is the Rank of the SEO Company on Google?

Marketing firms who offer SEO services should be experts at what they do. Like you, they want to generate business and market on the Internet. Make sure the SEO company has a high ranking for some popular keywords on the Internet relevant to marketing. If they do not, how will they make your company's marketing effort a success?

Does the SEO Company Offer Reports?

You should be updated every step of the way to see how the marketing campaign is working. You should also keep in touch with the company's marketing team and make sure they are willing to give you a direct contact number. Getting reliable contact numbers is extremely important.

What SEO Services Will You Get?

When you ask for an SEO quote for SEO services, make sure you understand exactly what you are getting. You should compare the SEO services offered by several companies before you ever choose an SEO quote. All of the services should be listed in detail on your quote. Compare what is excluded and included in each package so you can stay on budget.

Once you consider each of the factors above, you can move on to choosing the best SEO quote offered by the best company in the industry. Take time to research the industry, research the companies, and then budget the cost.

Any reputable SEO company should be willing to give you proof of success. Make sure the SEO company has a high ranking for some popular keywords on the Internet relevant to marketing. When you ask for an SEO quote for SEO services, make sure you understand exactly what you are getting. Choose the best SEO quote offered by the best company in the industry.

SEO Doesn't Work Anymore! An Important Update!

Yep, you heard that right. But before you reach through your screen and slap me, let me explain. You see, the tricks and gimmicks taught in most SEO courses we've seen over the last few years about gaming Google and manipulating it with lots of automated backlinking strategies, fake forum and blog posts, and other stuff like that...just doesn't work anymore!

So, what does?

Systematic delivery of good, valuable content to please your visitors and not the search engine, Even SEO Companies Agree. It's hard to believe, but this is 100% true.

A huge SEO company that I know of have this massive department of sales people calling on businesses day and night, trying to convince them to hire these guys to do this thing for them. Their packages start at $500/month all the way to $10,000 per month!

And what it comes down to is it's not that SEO doesn't work, but the way most of these companies do it, by hiring people in third world countries for $3 an hour to spam Google with a bunch of links and rehashed content that doesn't even make sense...well that doesn't work!

But here's what does. And it withstood the test of time over and over and over again. What works is when you provide real content that people want to read. You know, one of the major things Google looks from a SEO perspective is your bounce rate and time on site. There are others, but these two are a biggie.

You have to step back and think what does Google really want? Well, in their own words, they want good user experience. See, they don't care about your website or your business. They could care less about their advertisers (don't we all know that). But what they really care about, is making sure the user (the searcher) gets the most relevant and the most useful search results possible.

So, if a person comes to your site, and doesn't find much value there, they're outta there faster than a speeding bullet. That's your bounce rate and time on site. However, when they come to a blog filled with valuable content on the topic they were looking for, they start reading, clicking around, commenting, liking and sharing on FB, Twitter, and so forth...that's what Google wants.

So you see SEO today is all about the user and not about trying to manipulate Google to rank your website for a certain keyword because you've got umpteen thousand backlinks to your highly optimized page.

I receive my teachings from a University unlike any traditional University that you know about. It's more like an institution that provides a systematic way for you to earn while you learn. And I mean, really make money and learn from some of the industry's top earners! INTERNET INCOME UNIVERSITY or IIU keep me ahead of the game, and on top of SEO changes. In this industry you have to stay on your toes to succeed!

Thank you for reading this article! I hope you found value in the content.

SEO: Five Important Points You Must Know About Backlinks

Link building is very important in search engine optimization. Google and the other major search engines are not oblivious to the variety of SEO methods both ethical and unethical, used by website owners to rank high in the search engine results pages (SERPs). Google and the major search engines hire some, but not all of the most brilliant minds in the world to come and work for them. These employees make sure that when you type something in your search engine's browser, nothing comes out but quality content.

We, as website owners are fully aware that getting backlinks to our sites is an integral part of ranking high in the major search engines. Currently, the present view dictates that the one with the most number of links ranks high. Unfortunately, there is much more to be learned than just having numerous backlinks. Below are five important points you must know about backlinks.

1. The anchor text matters. We all know that Google likes variety. When you create the links to your pages, make sure that you use a variety of keyword rich anchor text for your links. Having the exact same anchor text for your links will look unnatural. Google and the other major search engines don't like unnatural.

It makes perfect sense if you think about it. If the different links to your sites were created naturally, the degree of similarity of having the same anchor text is very small. Here is a simple and effective way on how you can get away with your links having the same anchor text. Use the exact keyword you're trying to rank that page for in eighty percent of your links while the remaining twenty percent are variations or different versions of this keyword. By variation, you can intentionally misspell the keyword or simply just a variation of the main keyword you're targeting.

2. Some of the webpages that contain links pointing to your pages should contain links that point to them also. In order to look natural in Google's eyes, this must be added to your backlinking techniques.

3. Some website owners don't like to allow other people to place links on their sites. They have No Follow switch on. This informs the search engines to pay no attention to links leaving the page. Of course this setting will not help us rank higher in the search engines. To look natural, you also must have some No Follow sites. If all your incoming links came from Do Follow sites, the search engines will view this as unnatural.

4. Avoid linking back to sites that have low reputation or are of low quality. What I mean by this is that when low reputation sites have links pointing to your sites, don't worry. Just make sure that you don't reciprocate those links. It will not seem natural. Sometimes you can't avoid it if they have links towards yours. Don't worry. Google will not penalize you for that.

5. Lastly, it's very important to stress that SEO isn't an overnight thing. It means that what you think you did wrong today will have an immediate effect on your site's ranking tomorrow. For example your site's ranking dropped the following day after you tried something new to increase its ranking. The result of your site dropping isn't caused by the new thing.

To summarize, whatever you do with your links, it's most important to make a conscious effort to make them look natural in Google's eyes and the other major search engines. Above all, never hurry when building your backlinks. Patience has its rewards.
